The acne in the ears can be irritating and painful, but don’t fall in temptation to squeeze them. Even if you wash your hands, there are numerous microbes under your nails that can appear on the place, especially when it “opens” under pressure, claims Dr Joel Cohen, a dermatologist from Chicago. Instead of it, use cotton, dip it in 10% peroxide gel and apply it directly on the acne.
The benzyl peroxide has anti-inflammatory properties that stop the acne to appear and remove the pus in a delicate way, even before it appears on the surface.
To prevent the uncomfortable excrescences in this area, you should raise the ear hygiene. – advises Dr Dereck, a dermatologist from the University of Northwestern.
“Make a habit to wash your ears softly, while cleaning your face. Then wipe it off with a towel and apply a medicine containing salicylic acid with cotton. It opens the pores and cleans them before they stuff up with serum.” – he explains
Don’t forget to clean your phone also! Dip a cotton in alcohol and clean its surface. Do it once a week.
