This delicious drink contains ingredients that stimulate the thyroid gland, it also is a bomb of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that are welcomed to any menu.
The recipe is shared by the certificated holistic nutritive therapist Syeda Kiran Zahra Hussain, and is contained of :
- 7 cups of distilled or filtered water
- 1 cup of 100% cranberry juice
- ¼ teaspoon of dried ginger
- ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon of muscat nut
- ¾ cups of freshly squeezed orange juice
- ¼ cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
Put the water to heat and before it boils add the cranberry juice, then the other ingredients without the juices, leave it to boil on low temperature for 20 minutes. When it cools off at a room temperature add the orange and the lemon juice. This quantity is for one day.

Cranberries – a great source of iodine, which is essential for the health of the thyroid gland, and these berries have it in 400mg, and they are one of the rare natural sources of iodine. The adequate input of iodine help in detoxification of the body, regulates the metabolism, the growth and development.
