There is a method that can help you if you choke and left with no air. It is called “the Heimlich method”, when we try to help a man throw away the thing that is choking him in his throat, by shaking him.
To do that, we need to bend down the man, hold him tightly on his waist, raise him up a little bit and squeeze him tightly. The thing that is choking him will get off his throat under the pressure and the breathing will be stabilized.
But what to do if you are choking and there is no one around?
If you are choking and there is no one around, bump your fist on the epigastric part, right under the chest. With the palm of the other hand cover the fist and hit the diaphragm with all your strength from down to up. Or hit yourself really hard in that part. Don’t be afraid of a bruise, it is much worse to be left with no air.
If you don’t succeed doing this, bend over a chair on the epigastric part and push the diaphragm with all your strength from down to up.
